On 29 October a State Funeral took place in Valencia to commemorate the loss of 240 people a year ago during the torrential rains.
\nIt took place in the monumental Museo de las Ciencias (Museum of Science) in Valencia. It was a lay funeral with the presence of Their Majesties de King and Queen of Spain, the complete Government and numerous relatives of the victims.
