On Saturday 6 June, because of the arrival of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain received the Government and the Diplomatic Corps at the Royal Palace.<\/p>\n

His Holiness\u2019 speech was of great profoundness and was applauded for some minutes.<\/p>\n

The Papal visit to Spain was a great success, crowned by Pontifical Masses to where, for example, 1.2 million faithfuls attended in Madrid.<\/p>\n

Our ambassador, was of course invited as Vice Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Dean of the European ambassadors.
