On Wednesday 31 January, H.M. the King of Spain’s New Year Reception for the Diplomatic Corps was held at the Royal Palace.
Our ambassador, vice-dean of the Diplomatic Corps, was seated next to H.R.E. the Apostolic Nuncio, who presented the wishes of the accredited ambassadors in Spain to Their Majesties.
H.M. the King of Spain answered with a very extended speech about the international policy of the Kingdom of Spain.
Afterwards, a cocktail took place in the “Salón de las Columnas”.
