Between 30 September and 2 October a pilgrimage of the Association of the Order of Malta in Spain took place for the Jacobean Year.

We were honoured by the presence of a delegation from the Grand Magistry composed by Their Excellencies the Lieutenant of Grand Master Fra’ John Dunlap, the Grand Commander Fra’ Emmanuel Rousseau, the Grand Hospitaller Fra’ Alessandro de Franciscis, Fra’ Roberto Viazzo and the previous Grand Hospitaller Dominique de la Rochefoucauld-Montbel.

The programme was composed of an arrival from the Camino de Santiago by a group of volunteers with handicapped people, various visits, religious ceremonies and confraternal meals.

During Sunday’s grand mass, the Lieutenant of Grand Master made the traditional offer to the Apostle.

It was a great opportunity for the Spanish knights and dames present to get to know some important members of the new government of our Order.
