On the fourth of April, our Embassy was represented by its Chief of Mission at the Funeral Mass in honour of His Excellency the Conde de Orgaz, a previous President of the Spanish Assembly of the Order of Malta.

The ceremony took place in the magnificent Church of the Jerónimos, a historic site in the city of Madrid, where King Alfonso XIII was married more than a century ago.

The mass was assisted by a large representation of the Knights and Dames of the Order in church dress as well as many friends of the deceased who passed away in a suddenly at the age of 85, after having been a very active President during 10 years.
