On 12 October, as every year, the celebration of the Día de la Hispanidad, the National Holiday of the Kingdom of Spain took place.
The military parade this year was celebrated with thousands of participants of the various armed forces with good weather and the Spanish flag brought down as usual by a parachutist.
Afterwards a reception was held at the Royal Palace where TT.MM. the King and Queen of Spain, TT.HH.RR. the Princess of Asturias and the Infanta Sofía received the Government, the Diplomatic Corps, headed by H.E. the Nuntius of the Holy See, followed by our ambassador and an important representation of the Spanish society.
These events allowed our embassy to maintain its contact with various ambassadors and members of the constituted corps in Spain.
