The 143Rrd IPU Assembly (Inter-Parliamentary Union) took place on the 26-30 November in Madrid. The Order of Malta was represented by HE Ambassador Daniel Verga, our ambassador to Spain and Mr. Yannick Galeazzi, Attaché to our embassy to the United Nation in Geneva.  Due to the intensive preparation work of Ambassador Verga and Mr. Galeazzi, the Order of Malta was accepted as Observer to the UPI, which is an important and useful step in our multilateral diplomacy.
