On Saturday 5 February the traditional ceremony of the Candlemas was held.  The act started with a mass in the Church of San Juan in Palma de Mallorca, capital of the Balearic Islands.  This church, belonging to the Order of Malta, was magnificently renovated some years ago.  Among others, the President of the Spanish Association, the Regent of the Spanish Subpriorate, the Delegate of the Balearic Islands and our head of Mission representing the Embassy assisted.

Some new Knights and a Dame were received in the Order during the mass.

Subsequently, a confraternal lunch united all the assistants with their families.
