On 12 October, as every year, the celebration of the Día de la Hispanidad, the National Holiday of the Kingdom of Spain took place.
The traditional military parade, as popular as colorful, was celebrated this year under heavy rainfall, cancelling the aerial part and almost flooding the Diplomatic Corps in their headless grandstand.
Following, a reception at the Royal Palace was held where the King and Queen of Spain and the Princess of Asturias received the Government, the Diplomatic Corps and an important representation of the Spanish society.
These events allowed our ambassador to establish contact with various ambassadors recently arrived in Madrid.
