On 12 October, as every year, the celebration of the Día de la Hispanidad, the National Holiday of the Kingdom of Spain took place.
The traditional military parade, as popular as colorful, was celebrated this year with good weather allowing the Spanish flag to be brought down by parachutists.
Following, a reception at the Royal Palace was held where the King and Queen of Spain, the Princess of Asturias and the Infanta Sofía received the Government, the Diplomatic Corps, headed by our ambassador, actually its Dean, and an important representation of the Spanish society.
These events allowed our ambassador to establish contact with various ambassadors recently arrived in Madrid.
