In our Embassy on 27 January, our Ambassador received the great soprano Pilar Jurado for a work lunch together with the Hospitaller of the Spanish Association, Doña Aline Finat, and the Vice-Hospitaller, Doña Elena Churruca.

The theme was to study the elaboration of several events, as well to take artistic diversions to the patients of our homes for the elderly and users of our soup kitchens as well as on the other part to obtain funds for the maintenance of these projects.

Doña Pilar Jurado already helped the Order of Malta years ago, giving us a recital in Seville, whose obtained funds were able to launch the San Juan Bautista soup kitchen in this town.  For this reason, she received the Cross of our Order of Merit.
